Creative Aids — Trust Your Ear

VerseCraft’s tools are writing and reference aids. The rhyme finder draws from a curated word-ending list rather than a complete dictionary; the syllable counter applies a standard vowel-group heuristic that can miscount unusual or invented words; the chord progression suggester applies textbook music theory to the key you choose, not a judgment on what fits your melody; and the BPM, song-structure, and setlist tools do arithmetic on the numbers you supply. None of this replaces your own musical judgment. Before you rely on a suggestion for a recording, a performance, or anything else that matters, try it against your song and trust your ear over the tool.

Description of Service

VerseCraft provides free, browser-based tools and reference content, including:

• A rhyme finder for perfect and near-rhymes
• A syllable and meter counter for lyric lines
• A song structure timer that turns an arrangement and tempo into a running length
• A chord progression suggester built on diatonic music theory
• A BPM to mood & feel guide based on standard tempo markings
• A setlist timer for planning a live set
• Guides, explainers, and reference content on songwriting craft

All tools are provided free of charge. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
